This is one thing that Andorra has no shortage of! Après ski to many skiers is a very important part of the ski holiday experience - something with which we tend to agree - and fortunately Andorra has not only plenty of different ski villages to visit, but also a huge variety in its nightlife. The flavour can be local, Spanish, French, British, South African, South American, and more recently even Russian!

In Soldeu, you can choose between the classic 'log cabin' style surroundings of a quiet hotel lounge drinking hot chocolate in front of an open fire, to a wide range of bars, pubs and night-club discos that stay open until 3am.

Pas de la Casa has masses to offer in the way of night life, and some good shopping for those who wish to take a morning off from the skiing or boarding!

The same can be said of Canillo and Encamp, where, as well as the bars, cafés and discos, other snow sports and activities can be enjoyed for those who are not exhausted by a day's skiing.

Arinsal also has much to offer, from peaceful and relaxing lounges to music filled bars and clubs open until 3am and some until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays.

With an emphasis on the English speaking side, lots of the Arinsal residents and staff are native English. Giving everyone who visits Arinsal the warmest of welcomes on the coldest of days, these hard-working and fun-loving members of Arinsals community have been one of the main reasons for many a holidaymakers return to this little mountain village.

Families are more than welcome to take their children into the bars (the legal drinking age in Andorra is 18 years old) so they too can form part of and equally enjoy the fun with the rest of the clients.

Andorra has long been known for its duty-free goods. This obviously also applies to its drinks! In a free-pour country where the typical spirit measure is approx. 80-90ml, too much of a 'good thing' can be had during après-ski. Just remember to take it easy cos youll also have to make it through some very enjoyable evenings!
